What forms of payment do you accept?


Currently I accept payment via Paypal and credit cards. The paintings are not shipped until payment clears in full.


Can I commission a painting?


I'm open to requests for commissions, depending on your request and my current work load. After you read the commission policy, contact me with the details of your request.


Can I purchase with a payment plan?


No, not at the current moment. But, I do plan to look into this in the future.


What do you mean by “available in galleries”?


There might be times when a painting you like may currently be on display at an art gallery, being exhibited, or not available. If the painting you want is currently in a gallery, contact me to find out the gallery’s contact information.


Can I purchase prints?


Yes, you sure can! To purchase prints of my paintings in many sizes and formats, for instance: greeting cards, framed prints, prints on stretched canvases, etc., go here:




To request prints of a particular painting be made available, simply contact me.

What is the return/refund policy?

If the print arrives damaged during shipment, I will gladly send you a replacement print. Please take a photo of the damaged package and print and email it to me at darkis@darkisart.com with your order number and a short explanation. Thank you. ;)


Are the paintings on the Shop page the only originals available?


Yes. If you’re looking for a particular painting but you don’t see it on the Shop page; that means it has already been sold, or is not for sale. Contact me with requests for future paintings. All requests will be considered depending on my current workload.

Do the paintings come framed or do they need to be framed?


Most paintings are on gallery-wrapped canvases. Some paintings either continue onto the edges or the edges are painted black. Most are ready to hang–no framing necessary. Please refer to each individual item description.


The edge sizes (depth) of paintings are shown on the description. Please inquire if you need the specifics about a particular painting. If you’d like to know the specific materials used for a particular painting, please let me know.

Is shipping included in your prices?



Paintings ship out as soon as possible once payment has been received in full and cleared. The utmost care is taken when packing and shipping sold artwork. There may be a wait period of up to a week to allow for packing of very large paintings.
